Overview

Explore the hidden trails of the Ardennes during this extraordinary bikepacking adventure. The event is entirely self-supported. The Hardennes GT is an odyssey deep into these ancient woods. Over 60% of the Ardennes massif is covered in forest. Each rider follows their own route, their own rhythm, their own story. Checkpoints are staffed by fellow Resist & Riders. 4 distances between 100 and 700 km along the winding trails of the Ardennes. Experience the Genesis of the Hardennes GT, a journey that will push you to the limits of what’s possible and to the edge of your endurance. The Ardennes will make you someone else. The event is self supported. Embark on an ultra-memorable first experience, thanks to a course designed for initiation. Be careful though, the Ardennes will never be easy terrain. Discover the Ardennes by bike on one or two 100 km loops. A roaming ride through deep forests, forgotten villages, and peaceful valleys. The terrain remains typically Ardennes: demanding, alive, sincere. An entry point into the Resist & Ride adventure, or a breath of air before tackling bigger challenges. The Hardennes Gravel Tour is without any doubt the gravel brother of The Ardennes Monster. With its 700 km and 11 000 hm, it will plunge you into the deepest valleys and paths of the country. Get ready to wince in pain while smiling to Mother Nature. The Hardennes Gravel Tour 700 km is aimed at experienced challengers. Heading east from the very first pedal stroke: you fly toward Bastogne, where the Mardasson Memorial raises its concrete stars to the sky. Hidden gems of forest trails lead you to Martelange. At the La Bordure checkpoint, a strong coffee marks your entry into the south. Final act: the rolling hills of Herbeumont still tease your legs as the Great Forest of Saint-Hubert looms ahead. The Hardennes GT 200 brings together two 100 km loops that reveal the contrasting character of the Ardennes. Two different ways of reading the same landscape, where forests, ridgelines and silence shape the ride. The Hardennes GT 200 loops back through the base camp at the halfway point, where riders can refuel and drop off personal gear. The HGT 100 lets you ride the east loop of the 200 km. This one proposes a more smooth gravel route. But if you want to go on a more challenging adventure, you can choose the west loop.
