The Via Verde del Aceite is one of the longest in Spain. It crosses the southern part of the Andalusian provinces of Córdoba and Jaén, following the former railway line of the oil train. You will see tens of thousands of olive trees. You will also pass through protected natural areas such as the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park. The bike route begins in Jaén. The daily distances are moderate, leaving plenty of time to stop in the towns and enjoy all the beauty that the Via Verde del Aceite has to offer.
