This multi-day tour through Andalusia (Southern Spain) connects the rugged mountain trails of Ronda with the tracks around Mijas, near the coast. Instead of staying in one region, you’ll cross a varied landscape: from quiet forests and gravel roads to technical singletracks overlooking deep gorges and reservoirs. Along the way, you’ll ride through white villages like El Burgo, Ardales, and Mijas, pass the cliffs of El Chorro, and cross two mountain ranges – the Sierra de las Nieves and the Sierra de Mijas. You’ll finish just a stone’s throw from Malaga and the Costa del Sol. The route can be adjusted in length or difficulty. You’ll be cycling mostly off-road, with each day offering new surfaces, rhythms, and surroundings. From flowy trails to loose gravel, with the occasional tough climb or fast descent. The tour starts with a loop ride from Ronda, giving you time to get used to the terrain and your bike. It also gives you a chance to explore Ronda – a city with Moorish influences, dramatic gorges, and unforgettable viewpoints. You can ride the route with your own MTB or opt for a fully rented setup. The tour is self-guided, but there are plenty of opportunities along the way for coffee, lunch, or a cool drink in a village square.
