Puerto de Alisas is an enjoyable climb, with really pleasant views along most of the ascent. From Arredondo the road is lined by trees for much of the way; although there are glimpses of the impressive Collados de Ason Natural Park. Alisas is usually open throughout the year and is a great choice for a long ride when combined with other climbs in the area.
