A leisure tour to discover the culture, gastronomy and landscapes that Empordà and Girona regions have to offer. Located in North-East Spain, Empordà is a region of striking contrasts: snow capped mountains, crystal clear water coves, medieval villages, vineyards, secluded gravel trails, backroads and perfect riding weather 8 months a year.

Daily Ride Schedule

Day 1: Arrival in Girona, capital of the region and widely known cycling paradise.

Day 2: Ride on traffic-free gravel paths and small roads towards Pals, a medieval village overlooking the mediterranean.

Day 3: Today’s route takes us to Castelló d’Empúries along the coast and into the Aiguamolls Natural Park, a birdwatching paradise. A mostly flat ride through roman ruins, coastal towns and quiet nature.

Day 4: Probably the most scenic ride of the tour. Cross the mulshland area and head into the rugged beauty of Cap de Creus Natural Park through a traffic free path.

Day 5: The ride starts with a 5km gravel climb out of Cadaqués, but the views at the top are rewarding: sea and mountain views from the highest point of Cap de Creus, as you ride downhill towards Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. You can visit Dalí Museum which is a short taxi ride from your hotel
