Today’s route takes us to Castelló d’Empúries along the coast and into the Aiguamolls Natural Park, a birdwatching paradise. A mostly flat ride through roman ruins, coastal towns and quiet nature.

Probably the most scenic ride of the tour. Cross the mulshland area and head into the rugged beauty of Cap de Creus Natural Park through a traffic free path.

The ride starts with a 5km gravel climb out of Cadaqués, but the views at the top are rewarding: sea and mountain views from the highest point of Cap de Creus, as you ride downhill towards Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. You can visit Dalí Museum which is a short taxi ride from your hotel
