Overview

Spend a delightful week pedalling along pretty lanes that meander through vineyards and fields of sunflowers while exploring the famous Alsace wine road. Eat wonderful Alsatian specialities and drink in the region's fabulous wine heritage. This tour takes you from the cobbled market square in Obernais to Colmar, a wonderfully preserved old town with bold hues splashed across the magnificent half-timbered terraces. The route has been well-tailored so that something new and interesting is on the agenda each day, providing lots of opportunities to visit historic towns such as centuries-old Riquewihr, and majestic chateaux at your own pace (electric bikes and tandems are available if your legs need a little help). The tour includes high-standard hotels, bikes, maps and local assistance. Leave some space in your bag for a bottle of Riesling or two.
