The trail was built on the railway that was built on the Rolle canal. Lock your bike and take a walk to see the old stables where horses pulled canal boats 170 years ago

Great Torrington is famous (in Devon) for its annual bonfire night. In 2021 it will set fire to a 1:1 scale model of the Mayflower that sailed to America
