Overview

This tour involves shorter distances with some undulating terrain and optional rest days, with the option to hire trailers and kids’ seats. Your holiday begins on Sant’Antioco - a tiny island connected to Sardinia via a causeway. From here, ride to the beach or take a ferry to neighbouring San Pietro island. You’ll spend the rest of the week in southern Sardinia, pedalling through vineyards and olive groves of the Sulcis Plains, and exploring Chia’s pristine coves - with their apricot-coloured sands and turquoise waters, Malfatano and Campana beaches are particularly good for families. To reduce the time spent packing and unpacking, you’ll spend a couple of nights in most locations, including Sardinia’s prettiest town of Pula with its charming old town and alleyways.
