Cycle from Germany’s vibrant capital of Berlin to Copenhagen via forests, lakes and glistening islands. You’ll tour along canalside paths, scenic coastal stretches and shady forest tracks, taking local trains on occasion and cruising to Denmark by boat. The cycling is through rolling countryside, mainly easy to moderate, with enchanting towns to stop off at en route, but opt for an electric bike if you’d like an extra boost. Germany’s scattered lakes, peaceful wetlands and emerald forests get this tour off to a great start, with the clear waters of Lake Stechlin a beautiful place to stop for a picnic. Denmark’s interconnecting islands bring a whole new landscape of secret coves and sandy beaches - the white cliffs of Møn are a real highlight and relaxing on this pretty island is something to look forward to towards the end of the tour, before you cycle along the coast into Copenhagen’s cosmopolitan city centre.
