This wonderful tour as this part of Bavaria has the greatest concentration of breweries anywhere in the world, with an average of two breweries per square mile! You’ll cycle between historic medieval towns including Nuremberg, Bamberg and Rothenburg, each home to a collection of breweries where you can try locally produced beers. The cycling is rated as moderate, with daily distances between 31 and 37 miles (50 and 60km). The route is undulating in parts, but you’re rewarded with wonderful landscapes, filling local food and of course a beer or two!
