An exciting ride through the plain of Monumental Olive trees, between the white Ostuni and the sea! We set off from Ostuni, crossing part of the historic centre along the most important panoramic road. Leaving the town, we cycle through the very special Apulian countryside, which is simply unique in this part. We find ourselves in the Piana degli Ulivi (Plain of Olive Trees), an expanse of red land populated by thousands and thousands of olive trees, many of them hundreds of years old, some even thousands of years old! A short stop in the village of Carovigno, to cool off in the shade of the impressive Dentice di Frasso Castle, and then we are ready for the last part of our excursion, which will take us back to beautiful Ostuni. An easy ride for everyone, to make you fall in love with Puglia!
