An eight-day ride that contrasts two faces of Campania: the quiet, well-preserved shores of Cilento and the livelier, cliff-lined Amalfi Coast. Beginning in Palinuro, the route threads coastal lanes and gentle inland climbs around Mount Bulgheria and the Mingardo Canyon, then rolls past olive-growing villages and the Greek sites of Velia and Paestum. Overnights are in three- and four-star, often family-run hotels and one agriturismo, typically with a pool or beach nearby.
Adventure starts in Palinuro, on the southern coast of Cilento National Park
Cycle along the most unspoilt stretch of coastline in southern Italy, then inland to the Mingardo Canyon and abandoned village of San Severino
