Rather than taking on the traditional full circuit of the lake, this self-guided tour takes you on a journey around the larger two parts of the lake, with many attractions and adventures en route. These include a visit to the lake’s Mainau Island and taking a cable car to the top of Pfänder in Bregenz. Stay in a mix of mostly small, locally-owned hotels and guesthouses, with luggage transfers.
