On this journey, you’ll travel from Bolzano to Venice, following the Adige River—an easy, flat ride framed by the awe-inspiring Dolomites. The visionary architect Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) gave Vicenza its distinctive character. His architectural style inspired many, including the designers of Buckingham Palace and The White House. From Bolzano, you can easily cycle to the world-famous city of Venice, built on 120 small islands. As you ride from the mountains to the sea along the Adige and Brenta rivers, the route is mostly flat and therefore easy to cycle.
