Cycling in Sardinia traces the island’s south-west at an unhurried pace, linking wetlands, dunes and coastline with Phoenician sites and a legacy of mining. The tour starts in Cabras by the Sinis lagoon—seasonally visited by flamingos—and reaches Tharros and Oristano, then follows the Costa Verde to Piscinas before climbing inland to Arbus. The tour includes abandoned mines, Nebida and the Laveria Lamarmora ore washery, while ferries connect Portoscuso with Carloforte and Sant’Antioco. Vineyards and olive groves mark the approach to the Costa del Sud, passing Cape Malfatano’s 16th-century tower, Capo Spartivento and the beach of Su Giudeu, with Nora’s ruins before the finish in Pula. It is a self-guided tour with luggage transfers, a navigational app and rental bikes. There will be seven nights in 3-star hotels with breakfasts. Graded moderate, stages run 40–57 km.
