Overview

An eight day combination of cycling Salzkammergut’s lakes as well as Salzburg, on a self-guided holiday that starts and ends in Austria’s alpine city. The mountains of the Dachstein massif are ever present, and lakes such as Wolfgangsee, Traunsee, Mondsee or Attersee, which is the largest in the region, are top rest spots, with hotel stays there too. Trails are on a mix of cycle paths, rural and forest paths as well as some quiet side roads. There are also two days to explore Salzburg, one of the most cycling-friendly cities in Austria.
