Overview

The Camino Primitivo, or Original Way, is believed to be the original route taken by pilgrims to Santiago. It is quieter, quicker and considered more demanding than the other cycling caminos, as it crosses the rugged and diverse landscapes of the Asturias in Northern Spain. This itinerary for cycling the Camino Primitivo (8 days for the whole route) follows the Camino as much as possible, over eight staying in hotels, with luggage transfers.
