You cycle along the river Adige and through the Mediterranean scenery. Always on well-built cyclepaths or quiet side roads. Only one short hill during the tour(about 150m ascent). The stages can be shortened by train if desired. This route is well-suited for families. The tour goes from Merano to Garda Lake. South Tyrol from its best side! You will set off by bike from the Meran basin. You will keep cycling through orchards and vineyards and past palaces and castles and by doing so you mill make your way across Bolzano, Trento and Rovereto and then finally to the magnificently blue lake Garda. You can enjoy the tasty Italian meals just as much as the Mediterranean scenery. In almost every district in southern Tyrol you will find a swimming pool to cool down in. Or you can grab yourself a tasty “Gelato" on your way. At the end of your family cycle tour, the beach area by the glistening lake Garda is waiting for you with its many places to play and to do sport.
