Overview

This tour visits the production areas for some of Italy's most iconic foods. It's the so-called "Food Valley of Italy." The Emilia-Romagna region is the birthplace of tortellini, Prosciutto di Parma, traditional balsamic vinegar, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The tour includes riding, walking, and meeting the people who keep its traditions alive. It is designed and led by Federica, a native of Reggio Emilia, and guest chef Elizabeth Falkner. The tour includes visits to local producers, cooking classes, and exploring medieval villages such as Rocca Sanvitale in Fontanellato and Castell’Arquato. The riding is spectacular.
