Pedal through the "Ruta del Aceite" (Olive Oil Route) as you cycle towards Zuheros, one of Andalucia's picturesque white villages. This landscape is dotted with olive trees, illustrating why Spain is the world’s top olive oil producer. Afterwards, explore Zuheros’ cobbled streets, its peaceful, traditional way of life is spellbinding. Cycle through a national park on its via verde rail to trails path and Subbetica rocky mountain backdrop and restored rail stations. Following with a transfer, continue on to impressive Ronda surrounded by mountains and small white cortijo farmhouses. It's exceptional place to visit and so famous with its former residents, Orson Welles and Ernest Hemmingway. Afterwards, have some time to visit the many galleries, museums, Spain's oldest bullring, sunny plazas, benches overlooking the massive gorge, and soak in this well loved town. Following a good buffet breakfast, start the morning with a joyful ride through rolling hillsides and be awed at the deep cut El Chorro gorge. Indeed, admire the impressive Caminito del Rey (King's Walkway), a series of wooden walking platforms that somehow hang to the gorge side. This ride revels in stunning scenery and pays testament to the cultural richness of this area, experience a fantastic day of cycling through Andalucia’s scenic landscapes, passing olive groves, almond orchards, and charming agricultural holdings. After lunch, take an afternoon transfer to the picture postcard city of Granada with the awesome back drop of the snowy Sierra Nevada.
