Etape du Tour – July 19, 2026. This year's Etape du Tour is going to be one to remember, with 4 long Alpine climbs, including TDF legends Croix de Fer, Télégraphe and Galibier. This will be one of the longest and most challenging Etapes in history. Your epic day begins in the valley below Alpe d'Huez, where you have a few kilometers of a warm-up before your first climb. Etape 2026 finishes with a side-door climb to Alpe d'Huez, via the Col de Sarenne. 44|5 Cycling Tours has secured a fantastic mountain chalet, near the start of your first climb. We will pick you up at Geneva airport and from then on your transport, most meals and accommodation are taken care of. We can also help arrange a high-performance carbon-fiber bike for you on request. Let us take care of the logistics and support so you can make the most of your Etape weekend. As we have done in the past, 2026 will see an Extension Tour after the event is finished. Our base is our Etape chalet, where we can access some great riding.
