We'll be riding on exactly the same route as the race, every single kilometre, just a few hours ahead of the pros. The final, decisive week of the Giro begins with a massive explosion of mountain intensity. You will ride Stage 16, a short but exceptionally brutal stage that immediately tests tired legs after the rest day. Starting in Bellinzona, the route packs a staggering 3,000 metres of ascent into just 113 km. This is pure, high-density suffering, designed to test the best climbers. The stage is defined by classic alpine mountains, culminating in the decisive, high-altitude summit finish at Carì. Today is firmly in the heart of the Italian Alps. Starting near Milan in Cassano d’Adda, the route quickly leaves the Lombardy plains behind and steadily climbs into the mountains of Trentino. This sustained effort tests your endurance across a long distance, demanding focus and pacing to stay in front of the caravan and peloton. The stage culminates with a grueling, lengthy final ascent to the ski resort of Andalo. Today offers a stunning change of pace as you transition from the high Alpine suffering to the beautiful, undulating hills of Veneto. Starting high in Fai della Paganella, the route features a gradual descent and then a series of sharp, punchy climbs and descents. The reward is the finish in Pieve di Soligo, deep within the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco vineyards. Today is the ultimate test of your Giro journey - the undisputed Queen Stage of the Giro and of course in the Dolomites. Stage 19 provides a confronting brutal, high-altitude gauntlet that packs a staggering 5,000 metres of ascent into only 151 km. There is no respite. Starting in Feltre, the route immediately plunges you into the dramatic heart of the Dolomites, where you conquer multiple, legendary alpine passes. This stage culminates with the final, decisive ascent to the summit finish atAlleghe on Piani di Pezzè. Today is the final, decisive high-mountain stage and the very last chance for the professionals and their teams to make a difference in the overall standings. You need to start very early to meet the confronting challenge of 3,700 metres elevation gain that runs deep into the Friuli region. Coming straight after the Dolomite Queen Stage, this long route is a brutal test of cumulative fatigue. The day culminates with the legendary summit finish at Piancavallo. Today is the triumphant culmination of your entire Giro d'Italia journey! The ceremonial grand finale in the Eternal city of Roma. This stage is your victory lap - a relatively flat circuit ride that takes you through the heart of Roma, passing iconic landmarks like the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
