Overview

The 2026 Haute Route Alps will take place between Sunday 23rd and Saturday 29th August, starting in the French city of Nice and finishing in Thonon-les-Bains. Haute Route Alps is a tough but rewarding Sportive, giving you a taste of the life of a professional cyclist in a stage race. The route takes in some of the toughest and most iconic climbs in the Alps and consists of 6 multi-mountain stages and usually a time trial, or in 3 stages with the new addition of the 3 day event. Support at the Haute Route Alps is unparalleled and by purchasing entry you get access to a number of services. What's more, you get the unique opportunity to truly live and compete like a pro cyclist. This is a challenge includes bucket list climbs made famous by the Most famous Grand Tours, a lot of the race is spent at altitude, with several Cols over 2,000 metres above sea level.
