Overview

A bike tour starting from Milan, from the Martesana canal, will lead you along a bike path to Lecco (Como lake), passing from a beautiful natural scenery to a context with a glorious past, testified by period buildings and ancient villas. Along the way, the Crespi Workers' Village is worth a visit: built at the end of the 19th century, has been declared a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1995 as an "extraordinary example of the phenomenon of the worker's village, the most complete and best preserved of south Europe".
