A Self-Guided Cycling Week in Lucca, oases of peace, steeped in history, traditions, and culture, untouched by the mainstream tourism circuits. These are places where the essence of Tuscany reveals itself in a more intimate, unexplored manner. Some Highlights are Pietrasanta – the crossroad of sculptors from all over the world, The walls of Lucca, and its old town center, Montecarlo oil and wine, and the nature of the Park of Migliarino and of the Lake of Massaciuccoli. GRAN FONDO & TOUR OF LOMBARDY. The ‘Race of the falling leaves’ is a monument for the hardy souls coming right at the end of the season routed around the beautiful Lake Como. We will be based by the best cycling cafe in Como, Sartoria Ciclista, and have invitations to all their social events. GRAN FONDO & TOUR OF LOMBARDY. The routes and quality of roads are fantastic and the weather record is officially second to none. This is ideal for those training for the Etape, Marmotte etc, or simply wanting some serious training in the Spanish hills with of course the beautiful Spanish sun. These are the winter training roads of most of the pro teams like Quickstep and Astana. The Aitana peak was also the showdown for the 2016 La Vuelta.
