Overview

Discover and explore what we ultimately strive for in a cycling vacation–which is to simply “Pedal Happy”. Enjoy pedaling on quiet coastal roads with surprisingly few hills as you explore the magnificent coastline between Tromsø and the Lofoten Islands amid the Arctic landscape of northern Norway. Starting from 69° North latitude (just within the Arctic Circle) enjoy stunning views of mountains flanked by fjords, sandy beaches, islands and colorful fishing villages. Summers are short in northern Norway, but it is the perfect season for a bicycle adventure. The mountains are turning green, and local residents spend as much time as possible outside after enduring the long dark winter. Admire the Midnight Sun and the unique nature of the North. Take a whale-watching tour from Andenes and, if you like, hike some of the peaks facing the Arctic Ocean. Learn about local traditions like "Allmenningen" (the Commons) and visit a Sami Farm where people herd reindeer as they have for thousands of years. Norwegian cuisine, from the freshest seafoods to world-class wild game, is delicious and combines traditional recipes with modern variations. In short, we encourage you to come join us on the northernmost bicycle tour Bicycle Adventures has to offer!
