The biking routes on this trip follow quiet roads and bike paths (and the occasional gravel section) through farmland, valleys and towns. Terrain varies from relatively level sections in the Po Valley to rolling hills near Verona. You'll encounter some short and steep climbs. Most of our routes are on single-lane country roads, though when riding in and out of larger towns, there is usually more road traffic.
