Overview

In Portugal's majestic Côa Valley lies an expansive wilderness, historic villages and a haven away from busy cities. The Côa Valley holds a fascinating history which can be discovered through prehistoric rock art and villages. More recently, the valley has become home to one of Europe's largest and most ambitious rewilding projects with growing populations of wild herbivores and birds of prey.
