Overview

The Tour de Steamboat is an annual, non-competitive cycling tradition that unites more than 1,200 riders in a day of camaraderie, challenge, and community spirit across the scenic roads and gravel of Northwest Colorado. With routes from 26 to 100 miles, there’s something for cyclists of all ages and abilities. Riders are encouraged to go at their own pace and enjoy exceptional aid stations, on-course support, and a celebratory post-ride barbecue and craft beer garden at the historic Howelsen Hill Lodge. Now in our 21st year, the Tour de Steamboat has contributed more than $1.5 million to Yampa Valley nonprofits—an impact made possible by generous riders, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and our annual silent auction. Every mile pedaled and every dollar donated directly strengthens the local organizations that support the people, families, and programs of Routt County. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Tour de Steamboat exists to uplift our community. Your participation and support ensure that vital local nonprofits can continue their important work year after year.
