The Vía Verde de la Sierra runs through the mountains in the north of the Cádiz province, from Olvera to Puerto Serrano. Originally a railway line, it has been transformed into a 36 km cycling route connecting the villages of Olvera, Coripe and Puerto Serrano. The route passes through a varied and largely untouched landscape. You cycle through a series of tunnels – the longest over 900 metres – across old railway bridges and viaducts, and along quiet valleys and riverbanks.
