Located in the extreme south of France in the Languedoc Roussillon region, this department shares its territory between plain, sea and mountain. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate. Argeles (a small town of about 10,000 inhabitants) is located at the foot of Alberes. It is often synonymous with summer crowds but if you leave the most famous beaches to go to the mountains you will find a nature presumed to countless paths and exeptional panoramas.
