Day 1: Arrival Day - Guided walking tour of Hanoi and the bustling Old Quarter. Elegant treats included in the famous afternoon tea at the Apricot along with a tour briefing. Group dinner at a local restaurant. Day 2: Hanoi, mountain & birds - Bike fitting. Visit iconic sites in Hanoi, including the John McCain monument at Truc Bach Lake and the Ho Chi Minh complex. Lunch with local specialties. Travel to Ninh Binh to visit Mua Cave and climb for stunning views. Shuttle to Thung Nham Bird Park to see diverse bird species. Overnight at Emeralda hotel in Van Long. Day 3: Caves, temples & agriculture - Travel by car to Tam Coc for a gentle river row between paddy fields and through caves. After lunch, pick up bikes and cycle to Bich Dong pagoda. Learn about Vietnamese agriculture and cycle along a scenic canal through villages. Visit Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, with its temples and remains of the Old Palace. Second night at Emeralda in Ninh Binh. Day 4: Cruise, Kayak & Swim - Shuttle to Ha Long City and embark on a ship for a cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay. Visit Thien Canh Son Cave. Enjoy swimming or kayaking at Hon Co Island. Sunset cocktails, gourmet dinner, and social time onboard. Day 5: Fishing Village & Fly to Hue - Early risers can participate in Tai Chi or sunrise photo session. Breakfast onboard. Visit a floating fishing village by rowboat. Picnic lunch at Lap An lagoon. Cycle over Hai Van Pass for breathtaking views. Shuttle to Danang to visit My Khe Beach. Transfer to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a three-night stay. Day 8: Rural life & pottery - Pedal to the hamlet of Thanh Ha to see pottery making. Continue cycling through rural scenery to a village on Tra Que Lagoon. Meet local residents and participate in daily work of planting and watering vegetables. Cooking demonstration and tasting of local specialties. Ride to Cam Thanh water coconut village to learn about local life and paddle a bamboo basket boat. Third night in Hoi An. Day 9: Ride to My Son Sanctuary - Transfer to Vinh Dien and cycle to the My Son Sanctuary, a World Heritage Site with remarkable brick towers. Learn about their origins and purpose. Return to Hoi An for free time to explore and shop. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Hoi An. Day 10: Fly to & Tour Ho Chi Minh City - Board a flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Ho Chi Minh City Central Post Office. Check into the hotel. Evening street food tour to learn about authentic Vietnamese cuisine and local lifestyles. Overnight at Majestic Hotel. Day 11: Village Riding & Mekong Cruise - Travel by bus to the countryside near My Tho. Pick up bicycles and ride along stunning villages. Lunch onboard a river boat while cruising on the Mekong River. See fruit orchards, a brick kiln, and workshops. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a second night at the Majestic Hotel. Farewell dinner.
