Overview

Andalucía is the kind of place that turns a cycling trip into something you'll be talking about for years, _vamos_! Whitewashed villages, Moorish palaces, flamenco echoing off cobblestones at night—this guided tour strings it all together across 8 days, from Granada in the shadow of the Alhambra to the extraordinary Mezquita in Córdoba, with Ronda, Seville, and the white villages in between. Much of the riding follows the Vías Verdes, former railway lines converted into traffic-free cycling paths through olive groves and mountain landscapes, and a support vehicle handles the transfers so every kilometer you ride is worth riding. Throughout the tour, we stay in handpicked 4-star hotels chosen for atmosphere, location, and character—each one placed in or near the historic center of its city. In Granada, the Alhambra Palace Hotel sits on the hillside with views over the city and the palace. In Antequera, the Parador offers generous gardens and a pool. In Ronda, two grand hotels sit either opposite the bullring or overlooking the famous gorge. In Seville, our hotel is in the romantic Santa Cruz quarter, steps from the Cathedral and the Alcázar. In Córdoba, we stay in a 4-star hotel on the Guadalquivir River with views over the old town. Apart from daily breakfasts, five multi-course dinners are included throughout the tour, all at carefully selected local restaurants chosen for authentic regional cuisine. Andalucia has one of Spain's most distinctive food cultures—expect slow-cooked stews, fresh gazpacho, jamón ibérico, and local wines that pair well with everything. Dinners are a social affair here, starting around 9 pm and rarely rushed. A standard touring bike is included in the price of this cycling tour in Andalucia. The Velo de Ville L200 is for those who want a dependable, no-fuss ride across any distance. Available in both diamond and step-through frame, the lightweight aluminum build keeps things nimble without sacrificing durability. A 20-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain with smooth shifting covers everything from flat stretches to longer climbs, while double-wall aluminum rims and Schwalbe Plus puncture-protected tires mean fewer interruptions and more miles. To make those hilly climbs a bit easier, you can upgrade to an e-bike — the Velo de Ville AEB Classic is for those who prefer a little extra boost. These e-bikes are equipped with a Bosch mid-motor (Active Line, Active Line Plus, or Performance Line) and a 500 Wh battery for reliable range on daily rides. The step-through frame makes mounting effortless, while the Shimano drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, suspension fork, and Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus puncture-protected tires deliver a smooth, worry-free ride.
