8-day Munich to Prague e-bike tour, connecting the Bavarian capital to the Golden City of Prague through medieval towns, forested paths, and quietly spectacular Czech countryside. The route covers 303 km (188 mi) over six riding days, tracing four river valleys across two countries. Expert guides lead every stage on low-traffic roads and dedicated cycling paths, with a support vehicle always nearby. Evenings are spent in handpicked 4-star hotels along the route. The tour includes guided tours with local guides in Munich, Regensburg & Prague, sightseeing tours & entrance fees for castles, gardens & abbeys, and e-bike rental. The price starts from $3,748 USD. The tour begins in Munich, staying at the Platzl Hotel, steps from Marienplatz. Day 2 involves a transfer to Lower Bavaria, visiting Weltenburg Abbey and cycling along the Danube to Regensburg. Day 3 follows the Regen river through forests to Cham. Day 4 crosses into Bohemia to Domažlice. Day 5 includes a visit to Chotěšov Monastery before ending in Pilsen. Day 6 features a guided tour of Pilsen and cycling through rolling hills to Beroun. Day 7 follows the Berounka river valley to Karlštejn Castle and then to Prague. Day 8 concludes with departure from Prague. Accommodation is in charming 3 & 4-star hotels, including the Platzl Hotel in Munich, Hotel Bischofshof am Dom in Regensburg, Wellness Hotel Randsberger Hof in Cham, Hotel Zlatá Včela in Domažlice, Hotel Riverside in Pilsen, Boutique Hotel Anna in Beroun, and Hotel Questenberg in Prague. Single occupancy rooms are available at an additional fee. The difficulty is rated as 'Moderate', suitable for active travelers with a moderate level of fitness. Daily distances range from 38 to 70 km (23 to 43 miles), with some strenuous climbs in the Czech sections. A support vehicle is always available. Included in the tour are an experienced bike guide, 7 nights of accommodation in 4-star hotels (double occupancy), 7 breakfasts & 7 multi-course dinners, picnic & drink stops (food and beverages paid individually), guided city tours in Munich, Regensburg & Prague, entrance fees for sightseeing, e-bike rental, a support vehicle, and all transfers as per the program. CO₂ compensation for the travel region is also included. Add-ons include single occupancy room, helmet rental, and airport transfers. Not included are flights, helmet, lunches, bike protection, insurance, and guide gratuities. Rental e-bikes are VELO DE VILLE AEB Classic models with Bosch motor systems and 500 Wh batteries. The tour requires a minimum of 8 people and has a maximum group size of 18 participants. Solo travelers must book a single occupancy room. The minimum age is 18, with exceptions for minors accompanied by a guardian. The tour starts in Munich and ends in Prague. Most travelers fly into Munich International Airport (MUC) and depart from Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG). A 50% deposit is required upon booking, with the remaining 50% due 120 days prior to departure. Cancellations within 48 hours of booking are fully refundable. A 50% refund is issued for cancellations 120 or more days before departure. No refund is issued for cancellations within 119 days of departure.
