This is an 8-day, 7-night e-bike and boat tour that combines guided rides through Berlin and Brandenburg with a hotel ship that carries guests between stops. The tour features six days of cycling, taking visitors from Berlin to Potsdam, along the Havel River to Brandenburg an der Havel, and back to the capital. It includes visits to historic sites, palaces, and memorials, with nights spent aboard the Clair de Soleil, a comfortable 28-passenger ship. Breakfast, packed lunches, and dinners are included. The tour offers a blend of historical exploration and scenic cycling, focusing on Berlin's divided past and Brandenburg's "blue paradise" of lakes and forests. It highlights include cycling the Berlin Wall Trail, visiting Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, and experiencing the "Little Venice" of Berlin-Spandau. Accommodation is on the Clair de Soleil, a ship built in 1910 and refitted in 2010, with 14 cabins on the lower deck, each featuring two twin beds, a private bathroom, and climate control. The upper deck includes a lounge and dining area with panoramic windows, a bar, and an open-air seating area at the bow. The tour is designed for individuals with basic fitness, with daily cycling distances up to 55 km (34 mi) on flat, easy terrain. It is an e-bike only tour, with shorter route options available daily and the possibility to skip rides and stay aboard the ship. Independent cycling is also possible with provided maps and GPS tracks. Included in the tour are an experienced, multilingual tour guide, 7 nights of accommodation aboard the Clair de Soleil (twin-share cabins), all meals (7 breakfasts, packed lunches, 6 three-course dinners), some walking tours, a welcome drink, coffee, tea, bed linen, towels, cabin cleaning, cycling map and GPS tracks, use of a helmet and pannier bag, ferry fees, entrance tickets to Sanssouci Palace and Asisi Panorama Berlin, a guided city tour of Brandenburg an der Havel, a lecture on Berlin's history, Wi-Fi, CO2 offsetting, and SGR insolvency protection. Add-ons include e-bike rental, single occupancy cabin, and special dietary requests (for an additional fee). Not included are flights, travel to Berlin, one dinner in Potsdam, drinks (other than tea, coffee, and welcome drink), excursions not listed, transfers to/from the ship, insurance, and guide gratuities. The tour starts in Berlin, with guests meeting the guide and checking in aboard the Clair de Soleil by 4 pm on Day 1. Most travelers fly into Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). A deposit of 30% secures a spot, with the remaining 70% due 90 days before departure. Full payment is required for bookings within 90 days of departure. Refunds are available under specific cancellation conditions. The tour is suitable for individuals over 18. Minors under 18 may join on a case-by-case basis with a parent or legal guardian. Non-cycling guests are welcome.
