Cycle an average of 60kms a day through the countryside and around the Adriatic coastline and peninsulas of Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Average daily distances of around 60kms allow cyclists to cover a fair bit of ground with medieval towns and rural villages providing welcome opportunities to get out of the saddle and learn a little more about the region's fascinating cultural history. Coastal tracks overlooking the Adriatic provide the perfect blend of countryside and sea views with varying gradients further inland offering level and undulating terrain to reward cyclists who like a challenge with some exceptionally scenic places to take a breather. Although this eight day itinerary is designed as a small group tour it's just as possible to take up a self-guided option which also includes full back up, excellent route notes and luggage being taken from one hand-picked overnight location to the next.
