See Albania from the saddle, from the country’s beautiful historic towns like Gjirokaster and Butrint, to the Albanian Riviera, via high mountain passes. You’ll be accompanied by a brilliant local guide and a support vehicle at all times. Beautiful Albania reveals itself turn by turn on this energetic cycling trip. You’ll pedal from the shore of Lake Ohrid to the Albanian Riviera by bike via the beautiful Vjosa Valley and other scenic sites. Expect moderate to challenging cycling; you’ll need to be fit and confident on your bike. You’ll be in the saddle for six days on this trip, cycling between 33km and 72km, travelling a total of 318km over the total trip. The cycling is on the road and includes some steep climbs to get over mountain passes. You’ll be travelling with a support vehicle at all times. Bike hire is included and e bike is available for a supplement. You’ll be staying in simple and comfortable accommodation throughout this trip. Your adventure ends in Berat, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Albania. Here you’ll set aside the bike for the afternoon to explore the UNESCO-listed site, stay in a traditional hotel, and have a well deserved local beer to toast your holiday.
