An 8-day cycling journey across the Peloponnese, starting in Elaia and ending in Nafplio. The tour follows scenic coastal routes, passing through traditional villages and historic towns like Monemvasia, Kyparissi, and Leonidio. It combines active cycling with opportunities to relax and explore the local charm of southern Greece. Tour Character: Level 3, with 7 cycling stages (1 optional). Daily distances up to 70km with elevation up to 1100 meters. Good cycling fitness is recommended. Included in the tour: 7 nights in quality hotels with authentic character, tourist taxes, helmet, rental bike (Premium Road, Fitness, or E-bike), transport services from Athens Airport to the first hotel and back, luggage transfer, breakfast at the hotels, and On-Road Assistance. Arrival/Departure: Pick up service from Athens Airport to Elaia, and shuttle back to Athens at the end of the tour. Day 1 (optional): Arrival and shuttle in Elaia. Optional ride from Gytheio to Elaia across the Laconic Gulf, following the coastline. Day 2: From Elaia to Neapoli, crossing the Laconic Gulf with rolling hills and a notable climb. Includes an excursion to Elafonisos Island with Greece's finest sandy beach. Day 3: From Neapoli to Monemvasia. The route follows the stunning coastline to Monemvasia, a historical town on a massive rock off the east coast of the Peloponnese, known for its medieval fortress. Day 4: From Monemvasia to Kyparissi. Features a unique climb and leads to Kyparissi, a peaceful village nestled in a small bay at the base of the Parnon mountains. Day 5: From Kyparissi to Leonidio. A classic ride combining elements for an ideal day, including a visit to Fokianos beach and an optional climb with a unique view. Day 6: From Leonidio to Paralio Astros. A coastal ride to Paralio Astros, a picturesque town known for its beaches, a medieval castle, and a lively waterfront.
