This cycling tour is an exciting journey of discovery and a hands-on holiday for kids, with a program customized and focused on the younger cyclists. The big kids (adults) will enjoy recreation and rest in dreamy landscapes with numerous sights and attractions. Lots of variety is guaranteed: a donkey riding adventure, a boat ride on the Danube in which a Captain's License is obtained and even a ride on the world's oldest Ferris Wheel are just a few of the numerous highlights. The cycling path is completely paved from one end to the other, flat, almost always directly along the riverbank and very suitable for beginners and children. The tour includes 7 nights in family-owned 3* and 4* hotels and inn accommodation, breakfast or 6x dinner (surcharge 189 EUR, only breakfast in Vienna), daily luggage transport (1 suitcase per Person/ max. 23 kg), 1x train ride Krems - Tulln incl bike, one ride on the Viennese Ferris Wheel (Prater), child-friendly hotel equipment (playroom, playground), train ride Vienna - Linz (Transfer of own bikes not incl.), service-hotline, and a handlebar bag with route book, maps and information material per room. Explore the Dragon Train through the Land of Dwarves with a magical backdrop of the historical and stunning city of Linz. Day 2: Tour into a Celtic open-air museum in Mitterkirchen. Accommodations in a cozy farmhouse with delicious Austrian homemade specialties. Day 3: Journey through old markets and castles to Strudengau. Visit the Maritime Museum of Grein and enjoy the water park recreational facility and sandy beach volleyball courts in Ardagger. Day 4: Enter the world-renowned Wachau valley, visit the Benedictine Abbey of Melk, and cycle through vineyards to the winery village of Spitz. Day 5: A day of rest in the Wachau. Explore castles like Dürnstein or Aggstein, visit the museum of ship building in Spitz, or swim in the Danube. Day 6: Bike through spectacular landscapes with steep rock walls, vineyards, orchards, villages, monasteries, and castles, reaching Stockerau after a train ride from Krems to Tulln. Day 7: Cycle towards Vienna with fantastic views. Enjoy the city's music and food, and let kids have fun at the Prater amusement park with the world's oldest Ferris Wheel. Day 8: Before leaving Vienna, visit the Naschmarkt, Schönbrunn Palace, or the Zoo. A train ride is provided back to Linz (personal bike with surcharge).
