Overview

Discover the idyllic beauty of Croatia's coast on this deluxe bike and boat tour of the alluring Adriatic Sea. With an optional 2-day extension in Zagreb, this deluxe cruise offers you a full immersion in Croatia's immaculate beauty. On your bike tours, you'll ride through the lush landscapes and charming seaside villages of Veli Lošinj, soak in the rugged beauty of the 'Spice Island' of Dugi Otok, and explore the cultural crossroads of Zadar, where Roman ruins cohabit with engaging modern art. On the beautiful islands of Rab and Krk, you'll cycle along quite island roads offering panoramic views dotted with sun-drenched beaches and intriguing historic towns. In the evenings, park your bicycle or e-bike and unwind aboard your elegant floating hotel, where you'll enjoy local cuisine and spellbinding sea views throughout your adventure. This guided e-bike and boat tour is rated easy to moderate, with daily biking distances of 18-28 miles (20-45 km). You can alter the easiness/difficulty of your rides each day depending on how you utilize your electric bike settings! The terrain is mountainous and hilly with some long (and steep) climbs, reaching an altitude of 400-700 meters at times. You don't have to worry about time - participants can take as long as they need on the climbs, and your e-bike will make much lighter work of any slopes. If you choose to use a gravel bike, you will find the tour moderate-difficult and need to have a high level of fitness, ideally acquired by daily biking, to keep up with the e-bike group and manage the climbs. Participants will hear from their guide ahead of each day what the route section will involve. You always have the choice to skip a biking day to spend leisure time sunbathing on the boat. The tour takes place on mostly asphalted roads with light traffic. 7 nights' accommodation on board the _Andela Lora_ (Deluxe-class vessel), Breakfast, 2 days with lunch & dinner, 5 days with lunch or dinner, English-speaking guide (bilingual English- and German-speaking tour guides on most dates), Bicycle tours, E-bike (with pannier), Helmet rental, Daily tour maps on board, Taxes, Travel info booklet. A required visitor's tax and bottle water flat rate of approximately €80 per adult and €40 per child is not included in this tour package. These fees are paid directly to the captain upon arrival. Credit and debit cards are not accepted on board; ATMs are available at stops along the tour route. Optional 2-day extension in Zagreb including 1-night's accommodation in 4-star hotel in central Zagreb (double or single occupancy) and an optional guided walking or biking tour. Exclusive transfers: Zagreb Airport - Hotel (if booked pre-tour), Hotel - Zagreb Airport (if booked post-tour), Hotel in Zagreb - Omišalj (if booked pre-tour), Omišalj - Hotel in Zagreb (if booked post-tour).
