Overview

Join a small group on a relaxed two week cycling holiday around the back roads of Kerala and the tea plantations of the Western Ghats - ideal for India first-timers. This tour unveils an ever-changing backdrop of natural beauty, peaceful villages and little-visited beaches with a wealth of delicious regional cuisine. From the cooler climate of the Western Ghats to the peaceful canals and waterways of Kerala, tropical India cycling holidays invite an essential glimpse at life in the southwest with Hindu temples and protected wildlife sanctuaries adding to the enjoyment of days spent in and out of the saddle. Small group travel is not large group travel scaled down. It is modeled on independent travel - but with the advantage of a group leader to take care of the itinerary, accommodation and tickets, and help with the language. It's easy to tick off the big sights independently - but finding those one-off experiences, local festivals, travelling markets and secret viewpoints is almost impossible for someone without the insider knowledge gained from years in the field. For those with limited time, a small group tour will save valuable time in planning, and on holiday. We cater for both vegetarians and vegans.
