Lake Reschen - Verona 8-day Cycling Tour (Level 2)

Overview

Self-guided 8-day cycling tour from Lake Reschen to Verona, exploring South Tyrol's beauty by bike. The journey starts at Lake Resia near the Austrian border, with majestic Alpine views, blooming orchards, and vineyards guiding you to historic towns like Merano and Bolzano. The tour offers a blend of Mediterranean flair and South Tyrolean charm, passing through idyllic wine villages and the cathedral city of Trento before reaching Lake Garda and finally Verona. Highlights include cycling past the iconic submerged church tower in Lake Resia, exploring medieval towns, and enjoying scenic routes along the Adige River. Tour character: Level 2. Riders will cycle on beautiful paths, mainly along the Adige River, descending from Reschenpass almost 1,500 meters to Lake Garda. The route includes some small climbs, beautiful bike paths, and asphalted country roads. Moderate traffic is unavoidable on short connecting roads. Included services: 7 nights in 3* and 4* hotel accommodation, breakfast, welcome briefing, luggage transfer, digital travel documents (navigation app, GPS-data, route book), 1 boat ride on Lake Garda including your bike, and service hotline. Not included: Bike rental and insurance, printed route book (EUR 20 per person), return transfer to Resia (EUR 119 per person, EUR 49 for own bike, reservation necessary, pay in advance), tourist tax (if due).
