Day 3: Hike up a beautiful forest trail near the Guadalix River, featuring stunning mountain views, wildlife, and a twisting singletrack with challenging climbs and thrilling descents, culminating in a long descent to Hacienda Los Robles.
Day 4: A challenging 98km ride from Navacerrada to Ávila, featuring high-altitude plains, forest tracks, cultural sites like El Escorial, and a perfect single track to the historic city of Ávila.
Day 5: Descending from Ávila, entering a forest track along a sinuous creek, cycling on high mountain tracks, passing Zapatero Mountain at 1822m in the Gredos Massif, and riding alongside the Tormes River to Barco d’Ávila.
Day 6: Conquer the Béjar Mountain with difficult climbs, hard tracks, and single-track sections, passing oak forests and the picturesque Candelário Villa, finishing in Sotoserrano.
Day 7: A softer terrain day with lower mountains and schist, cycling through oak and pine forests in Las Hurdes, finishing in Pinofranqueado.
Day 8: Cycling through small, medieval villages in the Sierra da Gata with nice tracks and astonishing photo opportunities, finishing in Trevejo.
Day 9: Crossing the border between Portugal and Spain at almost 1000m on the Malcata mountain, reaching the first typical Portuguese villages, and ending in Sabugal.
Day 10: Discovering Portugal's iconic historical villages like Sortelha with its medieval castle, riding medieval stone roads and single tracks, entering the higher mountains, and arriving at Manteigas in a glacial valley.
Day 11: Riding through the Serra da Estrela, the highest peak in continental Portugal, near a lagoon, passing forests, mountain meadows, and typical mountain villages, arriving at Aldeia das Dez.
Day 12: Crossing the central Portuguese mountains on rounded ridges, enjoying great scenery, and ending with an incredible downhill track to Penela.
Day 13: Experiencing varied landscapes including mountain scenery, typical villages, a magnificent trail through the Alge canyon with an impressive waterfall and fun single tracks, then entering a hilly karst landscape with olive groves.
Day 14: Cycling through the limestone hills of the Serra d'Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, with paths flanked by stone walls, reaching the last ridge to see the Atlantic Coast for the first time, and arriving at Alcobaça.
Day 15: Riding until Lourinhã, crossing karst landscape through a beautiful path on Montejunto sierra with superb views over the plains, and singletracks on ridges with typical windmills.
Day 16: Arriving at the sea, riding roads and paths over the sea, single-tracks, trails on the cliffs and beaches, reaching Roca Cape, the westernmost point of Europe, with a celebration and transfer to Cascais.
