Cycling Germany's Main River is a great bike tour. On this self-guided cycling tour you will ride along easy cycle routes through the scenic regions of the Main Valley and Franconia. You will cycle beside the Main River on the beautiful Main River Cycle Path. You will discover different cultural landscapes, and unforgettable impressions await. Experience the romantic Franconia, the down-to-earth city of Würzburg with UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites, the sunny Franconian Wine Country, the fairy-tale forests Spessart/Mainland, the "Bavarian Nice" Aschaffenburg and Frankfurt with its "Museumsufer" that is always worth a visit. This tour can also be extended up to 10 days, taking you from Bamberg to Frankfurt. It can also be shortened to 4 days and go from Frankfurt to Koblenz. Bike along quiet paths with gorgeous riverfront views as you make way from town to town, passing rich history and culture en route. Replenish your thirst with local wines and beer from breweries and wineries—Franconian Wine Country is definitely a highlight. Rest your feet at night in cozy, quaint boutique accommodations, which offer upscale amenities! This tour can be customized for you, and prices depend on group size, room types, trip customizations, and date of travel. The departures are available starting daily from March 31 to October 30, 2026. For a hybrid bike rental is $150USD and an e-bike is $325USD. Both include helmet rental. 6 breakfasts are included on this tour. Accommodations for 6 nights are included. Accommodations before and after the tour are not included but can be added as a supplement. Luggage transfers are included in this tour, however, you are in charge of any other transfers needed.
