This self-guided tour follows the Moselle Cycle Path from Trier, Germany's oldest city, to Koblenz, where the river meets the Rhine. The route runs along quiet, mostly car-free riverside paths through steep vineyard slopes, half-timbered wine villages, and medieval castle towns. Accommodation for 5, 6, or 7 nights in selected 3 and 4-star hotels chosen for character, atmosphere, and location — always in or near the historic center of each town.
