Mountain Biking to Khovsgol Lake Tour

This Mongolian Mountain Bike tour is a wonderful, guided, private tour where you will cycle to Khovsgol Lake, enjoying beautiful views of the diverse landscapes and scenes of Mongolia, as well as the different lifestyles of its people, including nomads and locals in small villages. The majority of the days on this tour will be split into two parts: driving and cycling, with support available for cyclists. Throughout the journey, you will traverse a variety of terrain that includes high mountain passes, river crossings. The tour ends at the impressive shores of Khovsgol Lake. This tour is rated as Hard (4/5) difficulty, with an expected travel on dirt, grass, and gravel paths on high mountain passes, rugged terrains, and river crossings. It is best suited for those with mountain biking experience. The tour is available from June to September, with departures daily from June 1 to September 30, 2026. The starting price for two people sharing a double or twin room is $4,595 USD per person. Included are 15 breakfasts, 14 lunches, and 15 dinners. Accommodations for 15 nights are included in hotels and camps. Local transportation, flights, and local airport transfers are included, as well as mountain bikes and helmets for use. English-speaking guide, camping and kitchen equipment, national park entrance fees, and museum and monasteries entrance tickets are also included. Not included are city touring, medical/trip insurance, meals not mentioned, alcoholic and soft drinks, visa fees, and personal gear. Optional extras include city tours and airport transfers. The tour is limited to a maximum of 8 to 10 passengers to ensure personal service and quality. The tour can be customized and adapted to individual needs.
