Classic, flexible pace cycling holiday with daily route options, including famous alpine climbs and the extraordinary cycle path over the Col de la Loze and Col de la Tougnète. The holiday offers three route options daily for ultimate flexibility with optional extra loops and climbs. It includes two-night stays in the same place, comfortable hotels, and excellent support from two customized support vans and two skilled guides. The trip is inspired by the 2023 and 2025 Tour de France Alpine stages. Six days of stunning cycling with route options daily, detailed GPS route files, on-the-road support, water and unlimited snacks, 7 nights twin-share hotel accommodation with breakfasts, 6 three-course evening meals with drinks included (for 2026), airport transfers, photos of the holiday, tips paid to restaurant staff, and financial protection by ABTOT and ABTA membership. Optional extras include single-occupancy hotel rooms, hire bikes, spare bike tyres and components, CO2 canisters, and Marmot Tours x Stolen Goat cycling kit. Not included are flights, insurance, spending money for lunches, dinner on one night in Brides les Bains (for 2027), tips for guides, energy gels/powders, specific bike spare parts, GPS device, bike lights, and personal pedals for hire bikes. The holiday offers flexibility with Classic and Challenge routes daily, manageable for fit cyclists who road-cycle regularly. Hotels are mostly 3-star, with a boutique spa hotel in Les Gets and two 2-star hotels in Beaufort. Rooms are twin-share unless a single supplement is booked. Hotels have bike storage, and WiFi is available but not always reliable. Laundry facilities are limited, but guides can assist with drying hand-washed kit. Dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice. Daily timings include breakfast around 08:00, set off around 09:00-09:30, lunch between 12:00-14:00, return to the hotel between 14:00-18:00, and dinner usually at 19:30. Lifts in the support van are available if needed. It is not recommended to bring carbon wheels with rim brakes due to the risk of delamination on descents. Essential bike spares to bring include lights, pump, tyre levers, inner tubes, brake pads, chain link, and a spare rear derailleur hanger. Travel documents require a passport issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least 3 months after the departure date from the EU. ETIAS electronic travel authorisation will be required from 2027 for non-EU visitors. Travel insurance is essential.
