Overview

The Vineyards and Coasts of Piedmont Tour is a chance to experience one of Italy’s best regions off the beaten path, riding from the beautiful Langhe area to the Ligurian Sea over one week. You’ll ride through famous vineyards and old villages full of historic charm, spending the week riding along peaceful back roads to get into authentic Italy and away from the tourist path. Enchanting villages, pristine nature, and the Ligurian Sea define this adventure. Ride along the road where the famous Milano-Sanremo bike race takes place, taking advantage of an intermediate difficulty level that lets you enjoy the scenery while on the bike. Finally, since this area is also well known for its delicious cuisine, particularly white and black truffles and cheeses, you’ll dine well after each ride. Ride through Piedmont’s famous villages and vineyards, both historically and culturally rich. Get off the beaten path in the gorgeous Italian countryside to ride on beautiful back roads. Spend each evening experiencing the hospitality of carefully chosen hotels, dining on local food and drinking local wine. End your adventure at the coast of the gorgeous Ligurian Sea, celebrating your 7-day journey. This guided tour is always run as a group tour where you’d be joining a group, however, custom private tours can be organized for groups of 4 and more (please contact us with your preferred date and the number of people in your group and we will create the itinerary just for you). 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners are included. Accommodations for 6 nights are included. All required minibus transfers are included, and the minibus will be available to you throughout the tour should you need a break. Luggage transfers are also included. Train stations transfers are included too. Minibus assistance, Taxes, Technical bike guide and assistance, Technical bike shirt, Transfer from/to stations are also included. This tour is based in hotels. Hotels on this trip are 3 and 4-star and offer modern conveniences that can make this trip more pleasant. Rooms may have fireplaces or access to amenities such as hot tubs, steam rooms, or private decks to lounge on. In some cases, the accommodation listed below may need to be substituted for other comparable accommodations. Rooms are double occupancy. You can pay a supplement of $450 to have a private room in a hotel where possible. Solo travellers may be required to pay a supplement.
