Overview

This self-guided cycling holiday in the Ma?opolska region of southern Poland covering almost 200km in a week on the VeloDinajec Route is, by its very nature, slow and sustainable, with guests cycling 22-58km per day, enabling them to explore the territory in a way that produces zero carbon emissions - by bike. We also offer e-bikes on this tour, encouraging people who aren't experienced cyclists to travel the eco way, making sustainable tourism even more accessible. Guests have the opportunity to explore and discover Tatra National Park, established in 1954 to protect the area’s forests, mountain pine scrub and alpine grasslands. The park is home to important wildlife such as the Tatra chamois and marmot, as well as more than 450 species of mountain plants. About half of those are not found anywhere else in Poland. Accommodation on this tour includes a mix of small, locally-owned hotels. They have been carefully selected based on a variety of criteria including their location, warm hospitality, good local food or commitment to responsible tourism.
