This is a self guided cycle tour through Provence, from Avignon to the Med, with rides of around 60km a day and two rest days for exploring off the bike. The tour starts in Avignon and finishes at the quiet town of Cassis, flanked by gorgeous coastline and bright blue seas. Cycle through the Alpilles mountain range, then pedal on past sunshine yellow homes in Aix-en-Provence and through landscapes painted by Cezanne and Van Gogh, before arriving in unspoiled Cassis. Cassis is still a working fishing port, and full of character. The tour is described as a week long with a warning that cyclists may want to start a new life in Provence. There is a choice of two standards of hotels. Breakfast, luggage transfers and a briefing are included. Hybrid bikes are available to rent.
